Uganda Go back to countries map Data for Impact (D4I) is working in Uganda, alongside the Ministry of Gender Labour and Social Development (MGLSD) to strengthen the collection, management and use of quality routine data for alternative care in Uganda. This activity builds on past work with the MGLSD under MEASURE Evaluation. D4I will support the MGLSD to roll out the standard indicators and M&E guidelines for alternative care, to identify priorities for a case management information system, and to build a culture of data demand and use for alternative care in Uganda. The goal is to foster improved processes, information systems, and coordination of staff and resources for monitoring country progress on care reform. D4I’s work will be carried out in coordination with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID)/Uganda, UNICEF, and USAID-funded activities.
